Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GeoBit Technologies ("GeoBit", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1Who We Are

GeoBit provides a geospatial intelligence and mapping platform that turns plain-language requests into maps, analyses, monitoring, and reports drawing on open and licensed data sources. This policy applies to all GeoBit-operated websites, apps, and services that link to it, including our mobile application.

2Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide and improve the Service:

3How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

4How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

5SMS / Text Messaging

GeoBit sends operational and safety SMS to field team members and designated contacts of organizations that use GeoBit, where the recipient provided their mobile number and opted in (see our SMS Terms at https://www.geobit.ai/sms-terms). Messages include check-in reminders, journey and route-deviation alerts, geofence alerts, panic/duress escalations, and dispatch and coordination messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.

We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in, or consent to any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are used solely to deliver the operational messages the recipient's organization has requested, and are shared only with service providers that help operate the messaging program on our behalf, under contract and solely for that purpose.

6Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring — to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

8Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:

9Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact atlas@geobit.ai and we will delete it.

10International Transfers

GeoBit operates globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers consistent with applicable data-protection law.

11Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services (such as mapping providers, payment processors, and data sources). Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

12Changes to This Policy
