GeoBit SMS / Messaging Terms

GeoBit AI operates an SMS program that sends operational and safety messages to the field team members and designated contacts of organizations that use GeoBit. Message types: safety check-in reminders and confirmations, journey start/arrival and route-deviation alerts, geofence entry/exit alerts, panic/duress escalations to teammates, and dispatch/coordination messages from the operations desk.

1How to Opt In

GeoBit sends SMS only to people who have opted in through one of these paths:

  1. App enrollment — When an organization deploys GeoBit, each field team member enrolls in the GeoBit mobile app, enters their own mobile number, and checks a consent box (unchecked by default) that reads: "I agree to receive operational and safety SMS from GeoBit and my organization at the number provided — check-in reminders, journey and geofence alerts, panic/duress escalations, and dispatch messages. Consent is not a condition of employment. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help," with links to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
  2. Administrator add + member confirmation — An organization administrator may add a member's mobile number; the member then receives a single confirmation SMS and must reply START to confirm before any other messages are sent.
  3. Text to join — A member can text START to the GeoBit number to opt in.

We send messages only to people who complete one of these opt-ins. Consent is not a condition of employment. We do not use purchased or third-party lists.
